Build the Technology Backbone of a National Operation

TrendHR is partnering with a rapidly growing property inspection firm operating in 35+ states and supporting several top insurance carriers across the U.S.

As the business scales, they are investing heavily in technology and seeking a hands-on, strategic CIO / CTO to lead that transformation.

This is not a maintenance role.
This is a build, optimize, and scale opportunity.

You will own the technology vision, modernize infrastructure, elevate data capabilities, and drive innovation across a national operation.

What You’ll Own

• Define and execute company-wide technology strategy
• Build and maintain a scalable technology roadmap aligned with growth
• Lead platform evolution (inspection tools, mobile field tech, reporting systems)
• Drive integrations across internal systems and insurance carrier platforms
• Oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and compliance (SOC 2 Type II focus)
• Implement automation, AI, and data-driven solutions
• Manage vendors, partners, and technology budgets
• Establish architecture standards, governance, and development best practices
• Partner with executive leadership to align technology with business outcomes

What You Bring

• 15+ years in IT, with 7–10+ years in senior leadership (CIO, CTO, VP, etc.)
• Proven experience leading technology strategy in a growth-focused organization
• Strong background in systems integration, infrastructure, and platform development
• Experience driving large-scale implementations and digital transformation
• Track record managing vendors, partners, and significant budgets
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable, practical solutions

Strongly Preferred

• Experience with SOC 2 Type II and security frameworks
• Background in insurance, insurtech, or field service environments
• Experience with API integrations and data exchange ecosystems
• Exposure to AI, automation, and analytics-driven operations
• PMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications

Work Environment

This is an onsite leadership role in Rockwall, TX, working closely with executive leadership, operations, and technical teams to drive real-time impact across the business.
